Dressing out code: (see syllabus) Not properly dressed (-5/10 points) Not participating (-5/10 points) 3. In order to receive credit for participation, the student must participate the entire class time or required time. 4. Students are considered tardy when not in the locker room at the ringing of the tardy bell. (Do Not go through the gyms.) 5. Students will be allotted approximately two minutes to change into proper physical education attire. Students will then be dismissed from the locker room where they are to report immediately to their assigned area to sit for roll check. 6. Do Not sit on the bleachers unless directed by a teacher. 7. Students are responsible for dressing out for Physical Education class. Students assume the risk for improper dress attire. 8. Coaches are Not responsible for valuables left in the locker room or gyms. 9. No Food, Gum, Drinks, or Lollipops are permitted in the locker room or gym. Any item being consumed or brought into these areas will result in the loss of the item and possible write-up. 10. Touching the rim, hanging on the net, and/or touching the backboard results is prohibited. 11. Any student not with his or her class is considered skipping. 12. No one is to leave class unless directed by a teacher. It is the student’s responsibility to secure a hall pass. 13. Students are permitted to use the water fountain at the entrance to the gym with a teacher’s permission. All other water fountains are off limits during class time. 14. Athletes are to dress out for class, including game days. 15. Students are excused from physical education class with a doctor’s note. Parental notes may be accepted at the teacher’s discretion.Students are to dress out, unless directed by the teacher. Alternative assignments may be assigned. Students are to inform their teacher of any illness or injury, which may affect their participation. 16. Once the locker room is locked, it will Not be opened during class for any reason. Students are to use the facilities during the first two minutes or at the end of class (dress in time.) Students will not be permitted to use the facilities during class time. 17. Profanity and horse play is prohibited. 18. All other school rules will be followed and enforced.
